Joe pursued intensive rehabilitation at Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and has recently begun outpatient therapy at Gaylord. His family is currently working on home modifications to make their house wheelchair accessible. Joe hopes to graduate from high school in June 2016, continue intensive rehabilitation and pursue college. He and his family face a staggering amount of out-of-pocket expenses, including home renovations, accessible transportation, adaptive equipment, a full-time caregiving team and continued rehabilitation. Proceeds from Jammin’ With Joe will be collected through the nonprofit HelpHOPELive to help cover the uninsured expenses associated with Joe’s injury.
