Congressman Patrick Kennedy and Dr. Dan Gottlieb to speak on Mental Health in Bryn Mawr

Dr. Dan Gottlieb joins Congressman Patrick Kennedy in a conversation about brain health, mental health and stigma in Bryn Mawr

Public servant, mental health advocate and member of America’s most iconic family in a candid conversation on the intersections of the personal and professional that spurred his life’s work.

Representative Patrick Kennedy served 16 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, and is predominantly known as the author and lead sponsor of the groundbreaking Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008.  He has built a national coalition seeking new treatments and cures for neurologic and psychiatric diseases of the brain afflicting one in every three Americans.

Dr. Dan Gottlieb, renowned host of WHYY FM’s award winning Voices in the Family, will moderate the event.
