Counterfeit $100 Bill Used In Radnor: Police

A man who took a cab from Philadelphia to Radnor gave the driver a counterfeit $100 bill and got $50 cash back, Radnor Police said.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — A cab driver in Radnor was given a counterfeit $100 bill Monday night, according to Radnor Township Police.

Police said at about 11:23 p.m. Monday, May 6, a driver for 215GETACAB picked up a man who wanted a ride from Philadelphia to Highland Avenue in Radnor Township.

The bill was $41.60 and the rider gave the driver a $100 bill and got $50 in change, police said.

After the rider left the cab, the driver noticed the bill was fake, police said.

Police described the rider as a black man about 6 feet tall with a beard.

Anyone with information on the rider or the counterfeit money is asked to call Radnor Police at 911.
