Counterfeit $100 Bill Used At Wayne Wawa: Report

Police said a fake $100 bill was used at a local convenience store recently, and another fake bill was used at a store in a nearby town.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Police in Radnor Township are investigating counterfeit money used in Wayne and nearby towns.

According to Fox29, Radnor Police said a counterfeit $100 bill was used as a Wawa in Wayne recently.

Police told the outlet the fake $100 bill was a bleached $1 bill that then was stamped to resembled a $100 bill.

Authorities also said a fake $50 bill was used at an Aldi store in Coatesville.
