Crook Climbs Kid's Play Set To Break Into Villanova Home: Cops​

The suspect was then able to steal jewelry and a lock box from inside the home, according to police.

VILLANOVA, PA – A burglar hit a Villanova residence recently and got inside the home by climbing a child's play set to reach a second floor window, local authorities said.

The crime occurred sometime between Aug. 24 and Aug. 28 at a home on the 400 block of Spring Mill Road in the Villanova section of Lower Merion Township, according to Lower Merion Township Police.

Police said the suspect climbed a child's play set to get on top of the home's garage, then got inside the home through a second-floor window.

Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry and a lock box, police said.
