Daytime Burglars Steal Jewelry From Villanova Home Friday: Police

Police said a Hillside Circle home was broken into and a large amount of jewelry was stolen sometime in the afternoon on Friday, May 25.

VILLANOVA, PA – Brazen burglars broke into a Radnor Township home in the middle of the day Friday, May 25 and stole a large amount of jewelry, according to Radnor Township Police.

Police said a home on the 100 block of Hillside Circle in Villanova was broken into sometime between 12:45 p.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, May 25.

The suspects got inside the home by forcing open a bay window on the front of the home, according to police.

Once inside, second-floor bedrooms were targeted and ransacked, police said.

The suspects avoided cash and electronics and stole a large amount of jewelry, according to police.

Anyone with information or who may have exterior cameras on Hillside Circle is asked to contact Radnor Detectives at (610) 688-0503 or detectives@radnor.org.

Police urge residents to be more aware of suspicious, people, vehicles, or activities during holiday weekends such as Memorial Day weekend.

Police said residents should lock all doors and set alarms where applicable.
