Deadline Extended For Radnor Memorial Library Board Member Applications

Interested parties can apply now through April 14.

The Radnor Memorial Library is still looking for residents interested in becoming board members at the library and has extended the application deadline.

Applications are now being accepted through Friday, April 14.

The initial deadline was April 7

Radnor Township residents can apply to serve as a member of the Radnor Memorial Library Board of Trustees for a three-year term starting in June 2017.

Applications are available at the Circulation Desk and are available for download online here.

The Board of Trustees of the Memorial Library of Radnor Township consists of 17 members.

Two are Radnor Township appointees, one is a Radnor School District appointee and the remaining 14 are elected by the Board of Trustees.

Each Trustee serves a three year term, with a maximum of three consecutive terms allowed.

Library Board Meetings are regularly scheduled the evening of the third Thursday of each month, except July and August.

The Annual Meeting of the Board is in May, and is a short meeting forthe election of the new trustees and officers with the regular monthly meeting following.

The temporary location of Board Meetings while the library is closed will be Radnor Township Building, 301 Iven Avenue, Wayne.
