Delaware County Men Indicted On Child Exploitation Charges

Two Delaware County men have been charged by indictment with numerous counts of child exploitation. They were arrested Friday by the FBI.

Two Delaware County men have been indicted on child exploitation charges, according to United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.

Daniel Mattson, 34, of Springfield and Anthony Lembo, 33, of Newtown Square have been charged by indictment with numerous counts of child exploitation.

According to the indictment, between 2009 and April of 2015, Mattson and Lembo distributed, received and maintained a collection of thousands of images and videos of children being sexually abused and in sexually explicit positions, Memeger said.

Both Mattson and Lembo were arrested Friday by FBI agents. They have been detained pending a formal detention hearing.

If convicted of all charges, each defendant faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison with a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison per count.

This case was investigated by Delaware County detectives and the FBI.
