Delco Animal Shelter Lowering Adoption Prices For New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

The Providence Animal Center, which is formerly the Delco SPCA, is offering lower adoption fees to help ring in the New Year for its dogs and cats in search of homes.

On Saturday Dec. 31 and Sunday Jan. 1, all pets 6 moths of age or and older can be adopted for just $20.017. See what they did there? 2017? $20.17? You get it.

Stop by the Providence Adoption Center at 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday to meet your new pets.

According to the center's website, 3,749 pets have been adopted in 2016 as of Dec. 27.
