Delco Coronavirus Cases Break 2,000, 11 More Die

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The total count of coronavirus cases in Delaware County has broken 2,000 as of Thursday, according to new data released Thursday.

Figures provided Thursday show there are now 2,055 cases in the county.

The municipality with the highest number of cases is still Upper Darby, which has 201 cases of Thursday.

Lower Chichester and Rutledge are the only municipalities with no cases.

Locations are pending on 753 cases, as well as 5 deaths.

Additionally, 11 more deaths have occurred since Wednesday due to the virus, bringing the total dead in Delaware County to 71.

Yeadon Borough has the most deaths with 13.

As of Thursday, the county has received 5,656 negative test results.

Countywide, 44.38 percent of cases are in men and 53.58 percent are in women; 2.04 percent of cases have not had genders identified.

• 30 to 39 — 304
• 40 to 49 — 325
• 50 to 59 — 439
• 60 to 69 — 304
• 7o to 79 — 167
• 80 and older — 189
