Delco Girl Hit By Car Goes Home After 6 Months Of Care: Report
Eight-year-old Jayzlyn Yeboah was struck by a vehicle in Springfield in October. Now, after months of care at CHOP, she's come home.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A young girl who was hit by a vehicle in Delaware County back in October last year has made it home from the hospital.
According to Fox 29, Jayzlyn Yeboah, 8, was recently discharged from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia after months of care.
Jayzlyn was struck at 3:39 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 on the 400 block of East Woodland Avenue in Springfield as she exited a school bus.

She was crossing the street when the driver ignored school bus stop sign and lights and struck her.
The driver of the striking vehicle reportedly stayed on the scene and cooperated with police

Police gave the girl first aid as they awaited for Springfield Ambulance to take the girl to Crozer Chester Hospital.
She suffered serious brain injuries in the incident.
Fox 29 reports the 8-year-old now will undergo rehabilitation, but her family is waiting to begin that when the coronavirus outbreak ends.
