Collier was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the homicide was immediately launched and the crime scene was processed.

As the result of the investigation, along with the witness testimony from five individuals, it was confirmed that on the evening of May 31, 2015, Clark ambushed the Collier and shot at him 15 times.

“We commend the many hours of hard work by Chester Police Detective Victor Heness, CID Detective Thomas Scarpato, the Chester Police Department and Assistant District Attorney Michelle Thurstlic-O'Neill, whose excellent prosecutorial skills resulted in a first-degree murder conviction in this case,” said District Attorney Katayoun M. Copeland. “Mr. Clark now faces life in prison without the possibility of parole for gunning down the victim in a residential neighborhood and leaving him for dead in the street,” said District Attorney Katayoun M. Copeland. “While we know that that a guilty verdict will not undo the trauma this act of violence has caused to his family, as the result of excellent team work, this individual will spend the rest of his life facing the consequences of his actions.”
