District Attorney Jack Whelan said the county will continue to aggressively prosecute illegal gun transfers and purchases.

A Delaware County man who sold guns illegally was sentenced to five to 10 years prison time Thursday, according to the Delaware County District Attorney's office.
James Cimabue, 26, of Chester Heights, was sentenced five-to-10 years in a state correctional facility by Judge John P. Capuzzi, Sr. for the illegal transfer and straw purchase of firearms.
Cimabue's sentencing comes under the Brad Fox Law, which mandates a minimum sentence of five years in state prison for the offense of illegal transfers and straw purchases of firearms, the DA's office said.
