Delco Pizza Joint Serves Some Of Philly's Best Pies: Philly Mag

UPPER DARBY, PA — Pizza is always pretty good no matter where it's from. But here in the Philly region, we have some stellar pizza joints that are a cut above many others.

Philadelphia Magazine, as it is wont to do, crafted a list of the best places to get a slice or pie in the city, and a Delaware County staple made the list.

Pica's in Upper Darby — which has a location West Chester, as well — was listed in the publication's round up of "The Best Pizza In Philadelphia."

This Best of Philly winner is a Delco icon, and not just because it’s a famous favorite of area native Tina Fey — they’ve been turning out killer rectangular pies and other red-gravy Italian fare for six decades. Head to Upper Darby (or, if you’re out that way, West Chester) for a taste.
