Delco Recognizes Caergivers For National Family Caregivers Month
Delaware County is recognizing caregivers who devote time to those in need.

November is National Family Caregivers Month, which gives all of us a chance to thank a caregiver and to advocate for supports and programs to help the caregiver.
This month, Delaware County recognizes the caregivers who are devoted to their loved ones and committed to their care.
Delaware County Councilman John McBlain recognized November as National Caregiver Month to recognize the dedication and sacrifice of caregivers and to educate caregivers about services available to support them in their role.

The theme for this year’s Caregivers Month is "Take Care to Give Care." The message is for caregivers to make sure they "Rest, Recharge, get Respite."

There are an estimated 60 million caregivers across the country who are helping someone be safe and lead a meaningful life, with dignity.
It has been said that one of the best measures of government is how it treats its older citizens and people living with disabilities, and Delaware County is committed to helping people get the support they need to enjoy their quality of life.
