Delco Young Poets Competition Open For Submissions
Submit your entry by March 24 to win!

Calling all budding poets in Delaware County: entries for the Young Poets of Delaware County Poetry Competition are begin accepted now through March 24, so get to work on some new prose or dust off an old favorite to submit.
Any Delaware County kid in first through 12th grade can enter the contest.
Submissions must be original poems and be typed or neatly written on 8 1/2-inch-by-11-inch paper; no odd size or construction paper.

Entries must include:
- Student’s name
- Address
- Home Phone Number
- Grade
- School
- School District
Submissions without this information will be disqualified from the contest.

Entries can be submitted to any public library in Delaware County. You can find your closest public library online here.
Only one poem per student will be accepted and entries will not be returned.
Poems will be judged by grade level and contest winners will be notified by phone and mail.
Deadline for submissions is Friday, March 24.
