Delco's SWAT Teams To Test Their Mettle Thursday
Six county SWAT teams will compete in physical, technical, and tactical challenges to see who is the best.

Delaware County's six special weapons and tactics teams – better known as SWAT teams – will face off in a series of challenges Thursday to prove which team is the county's best.
According to the Delaware County DA's Office, the county SWAT teams will gather at Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center in Sharon Hill where they will compete against each other in obstacle courses, officer down scenarios, and even have shooting competitions with hand guns, rifles, and long-range sniper rifles.
The event will test the teams' technical and decision making skills required in critical operations and increase performance in a controlled environment, the DA's office said.
