Democrats Farhy, Larkin Win Radnor Special Elections
Sean Farhy and Jack Larkin each won their special elections during the Tuesday primary, setting them as the Ward 7 and Ward 1 commissioners.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – While most voters were casting ballots in the primary election Tuesday, some Radnor Township voters had a special election to weigh in on.
The elections were for Ward 1 and Ward 7 commissioners.
In the end, Democrats won both elections.

Jack Larkin defeated William Morrissey Jr. in the Ward 1 election, 500 votes to 294 votes, according to the Delaware County election returns website.
In Ward 7, Sean Farhy won over Jane Galli, 528 votes to 264 votes. There were two write-in votes in the Ward 7 race.

"Jane Galli - You’re a friend of mine and a friend to our neighborhood- You kept your end of the campaign clean and ran your campaign with class," Farhy said on his commissioner Facebook page. "Thank you for everything that you’ve done and will keep doing for our community."
Larkin will take the seat previously held by Jim Higgins, who stepped down in December 2017.
Matt Marshall was appointed the interim First Ward Commissioner in January.
Farhy was appointed to Ward 7 back in December after former commissioner Phil Ahr left the board amid a child pornography scandal.
"I look forward to working with the entire BOC to benefit Radnor," Board President Lisa Borowski said on Facebook Wednesday morning.
