Five divorce professionals and an author gathered to share their knowledge and wisdom.
Last month five divorce professionals and an author gathered at The Saturday Club in Wayne to share their knowledge and wisdom. Audience members included those contemplating divorce, those currently in the divorce process, and those supporting a friend/family member.
Organized and moderated by divorce coach Sheila Brennan, the panel of divorce professionals included: Maryann Modesti, a divorce attorney; Lisa Hanson, a financial advisor; Susan Palmer, CPA; and Angela Tobin, a mortgage advisor.
“What’s the first thing you recommend to someone contemplating divorce?” commenced the program. They also shared their best success story.

Maryann Modesti shared a story about the trauma in her divorce when her 6-year-old son went missing for 30 days. She then spoke of the good relationship she now has with her ex-husband. The panelists provided focused answers to a wide range of questions on local family laws, taxes, credit scores, assets vs. liabilities, real estate, life insurance, and alimony.
Jessica Bram, author of Happily Ever After Divorce: Notes of a Joyful Journey, shared her story highlighting the struggles and opportunities of the divorce journey. Ms. Bram shared her successful tales of being on her own as an individual and as a mother.
