Don Wood Named Radnor Memorial Day Parade Grand Marshal: Report
The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 29 and a memorial ceremony will be held at the war memorial after the parade.

RADNOR, PA – The 2017 Radnor Memorial Day Parade is getting set to hit Radnor Township's streets and now we know who will be the parade's Grand Marshal.
Longtime Radnor residents Don Wood has been selected to head up the parade this year.
Wood, 80, is a veteran of the Naval Reserve, has served as Radnor Fire Company's chief three different times, served as Radnor's Fire Marshal, and taught physics at Radnor High School for decades, according to Main Line Media News.

The 2017 Radnor Memorial Day Parade will kick off at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 29 and all military veterans are invited to march.
The parade will start from the Radnor Financial Center and end at the memorial on South Wayne Avenue.

Access to Lancaster Avenue will be blocked to car traffic from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The parade march rain or shine.
After the parade, a memorial ceremony will be held at the war memorial at the corner of Runnymede and South Wayne avenues.
