Drive-Thru Food Collection Event Planned In Wayne

WAYNE, PA — A drive-thru food drive is planned in Wayne this weekend. The drive will support Delaware County food pantries.
Members of the public are invited to donate food and other items from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 13 in Wayne.
The event will be held at the Radnor Police Department, located at 301 Iven Ave. in Wayne.

Delaware county Department of Human Services, Congresswoman May Gay Scanlon, State Rep. Greg Vitali, State Rep. Jennifer O’Mara, and the Radnor Police Department are sponsoring the event.
This collection drive is contactless. Those wishing to donate will drive through the police department parking lot and volunteers will take items from their trunks to trucks for the pantries.

- canned meats and tuna
- stews
- soups
- cereal
- paper towels
- toilet paper
- dish soap
- laundry detergent
- toothpaste

- baby diapers
- baby wipes
- formula
- hand sanitizer
- cleaning wipes
