The crash caused delays in the area for a bout five hours as the car split the pole in two, which required power to be shut down to safely clear the area.
McClatchy failed to post 10 percent of $10,000 bail at his preliminary arraignment on Monday, court documents show.
He is slated to appear or a preliminary hearing on Nov. 20, according to court records.
