Between Friday and Sunday, the Lower Merion Township Police is participating in the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” national impaired driving crackdown. Police are planning “intensified, highly visible enforcement activities” to target impaired drivers.
The sobriety checkpoint initiative is funded by a PennDOT grant, police said.
