Friends and families of Ithan Elementary School students are invited to tour student artwork and enjoy musical entertainment at the school's annual Arts Night fundraiser, Thursday, May 3 from 6-8 p.m. at IES, 695 Clyde Rd. in Bryn Mawr.
Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade art will be displayed in the inner courtyard and 3rd, 4th and 5th grade art will be displayed in the cafetorium. Attendees can purchase "Original Works" items with students' artwork imprinted on a variety of products. All proceeds support the visual arts program and assemblies at IES.
Attendees may participate in an "Art Scavenger Hunt" to search for visual art details in the displays. Student volunteer musicians will entertain guests with vocal, instrumental and dance performances throughout the evening. All are also encouraged to add to the all-school weaving project on the "community loom" in the cafetorium.
