Summer Entertainment Series: The Unexpected, a Surrealism Workshop with David Gerbstadt

"Though rich or poor, through sickness and in health, no matter what, I will make art!"  Artist David Gerbstadt has made his career in art, be it sculptures or paintings, he works both in the US and abroad.  He often leaves his works lying around, believing that art above all should be shared. 

David will be coming to the Wayne Art Center for the first time to lead a FREE workshop in surrealism on July 27th, 2012 from 11:30-12:15.  David creates a world all his own, pulling his imagery straight from his own head.  Bring your friends, and your imagination, and use everyday objects and materials to create your own surrealist Masterwork!
