Extensive Tree Work Beings Across Radnor Township

Work on the project will take place across the township for the next four months, according to officials.

RADNOR, PA — Extensive tree maintenance work is now underway in Radnor Township, with dozens of trees and stumps being targeted as part of the initiative.

Work on the project will take place across the township for the next four months.

The township said work will be done in chronological order.

Work as part of the project includes:

  • Right of Way tree removals – 10 removals, stumps included
  • Right of Way tree pruning – nine prunings
  • Radnor Trail – 80 removals (stumps not accessible)
  • Hares Lane Trail (between Hares Lane and Harford Park) – 22 removals with no stumps
  • Ithan Park (trees located along stone wall on Ithan Ave) – 18 removals with no stumps
  • Dittmar Park – eight removals, some with stumps included some not, depending on accessibility
  • West Wayne Cemetery – six removals, stumps not accessible

Some project areas will require crane work, partial and/or complete road closures, according to the township.
