REMINDER: District 2 Recycling will be collected Friday, February 19.

A Message from the NWS Mt. Holly: A mixed bag of snow, sleet, and freezing rain tonight will transition to mainly snow on Friday as colder air moves into the area. This precipitation is expected to produce an additional 1 to 3 inches of snow and sleet between now and late Friday afternoon, especially in the north. This precipitation, in addition to frozen slush, will cause hazardous driving conditions on area roadways tonight. While renewed travel inconveniences can also be expected for both the morning and evening commutes on Friday, impacts should be far less than those experienced today. A Winter Weather Advisory is therefore in effect for the entire area.
