Finding My Birth Mother in the Rainforest: David Good at MUFON December 13

David describes his twenty-year obsession to reconnect with his mom, a Yanomami indigenous woman, deep in the Venezuelan jungle.

As a five-year-old, David Good loved to shop in the Rutherford, NJ mall with his mother, Yarima. Soon afterwards, the Yanomami indigenous woman, desperately homesick, left her three children and anthropologist-husband Kenneth Good to return to a remote village up the Orinoco river.
"A trip to find my mother deep in the Venezuelan rainforest became a pilgrimage, an endurance test of my physical, emotional and mental toughness. The 10,000 mile trek from the Pocono Mountains through jungle and the Orinoco River took five weeks to reach my home tribe, the Yanomami people.

The first words I heard my mom say were: 'What took you so long?'"

Now 27, David describes his twenty-year obsession to reconnect with his mom in The Way Around, his emotional and physical journey of self-discovery. He tells his story Tuesday, December 13 at Main Line Mutual UFO Network at Tredyffrin Public Library, Strafford, PA. for more information, visit www.MainLineMUFON.com
