Radnor Fireworks, July 4 2016: What You Need To Know

​The 32nd Annual 4th of July Fireworks will be held at Radnor High School on Monday, July 4.

The event benefits the Radnor High School Scholarship Fund. The rain date for the event is July 9.

"This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the organization," according to an event announcement.

Festivities will include music, children's games, a moon bounce, an obstacle course and refreshments. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will begin at dusk.

Event sponsors include: Beneficial Bank, Bryn Mawr Trust, National Penn Bank, Christopher’s, Pennsylvania Trust, Giant and PECO.

Advance tickets are $3 for children under 13, $6 for teens and adults, and $12 for a group car.

Tickets can be purchased at the following locations: Braxton's Animal Works; Bryn Mawr Trust Company (Wayne branch); D'Amicantonio Shoes; Dayton Lock Company; the Radnor Township Building; Santander Bank (Wayne branch) and Wayne Sporting Goods.

Tickets at the gate are $5 for children under 13, $10 for teens and adults and $20 for a group car.

"The annual event is a major source of funding for the Radnor High School Scholarship Fund," organizers explain.

RHSSF was founded in 1966 to provide financial aid to deserving graduates of Radnor High School for post-high school education. Since its inception, the RHSSF has awarded 928 scholarships and a total of over $2.8 million in committed funds.
