Free Electronic Recycling, Document Shredding In Radnor Oct. 14

Read on to see what you can have recycled at the free event next month, which is open to Radnor Township residents only.

WAYNE, PA – Radnor Township residents who need to de-clutter their spaces have a good chance to do just that next month, as the township is hosting a free document shredding and electronics recycling event for township residents only.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Radnor Township Municipal Building, 301 Iven Ave., Wayne.

Electronics items accepted at the event include hard drives, tablets, laptops, computers, TVs of all kinds, phones, printers and ink cartridges, cables, air conditioners, and more.

Large appliances and smoke detectors will not be accepted.

All data and information on electronic devices will be wiped or destroyed to ensure your privacy.

As for the paper shredding, those using the service must ensure the paper is not in binders when dropping off shredding materials.

All papers will be securely handled and processed. The vendor is bonded and conforms to all HIPAA and GLB Standards, the township said.

This event is open to township residents only and crews running the event will be checking IDs to ensure only township residents use the service.

Additionally, there is no early drop off: all materials must be dropped off between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
