Galen Fisher Promoted
Galen Fisher, United States Naval Academy graduate promoted to LT j.g.
SAN DIEGO (JUNE 11, 2015) - Newly promoted Lt. j.g. Galen Fisher from Radnor, Pennsylvania, receives lieutenant junior grade collar devices presented by Cmdr. Blake Kent during a promotion ceremony on the flight deck aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8). Makin Island is undergoing a phased maintenance availability (PMA) and is currently ahead of schedule for the CNO’s PMA at its homeport, Naval Base San Diego.
