Garage Fire Breaks Out Sunday In Radnor

One responder suffered heat exhaustion while battling the blaze.

RADNOR, PA – A garage caught fire Sunday in Radnor Township, causing one responder to suffer from heat exhaustion, according to the Radnor Fire Company.

The fire company responded to the 300 block of Conestoga Road at about 8:45 a.m. Sunday, July 16.

Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke showing from a detached garage on the property.

The fire company said the fire was under control shortly after fire engines arrived.

No civilians were injured in the blaze, but one firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion, the fire company said.

The fire company said the scene was clear by 10 a.m.

The Berwyn Fire Company, EMS crews, and Radnor Township Police assisted at the scene.
