The Fall Harvest & Great Pumpkin Patch Event

  • When: Sunday, Oct 7 from 1 - 4 p.m.
  • Where: The Willows Park & Estate
  • Why Go: Enjoy autumn activities including pumpkin picking, hay wagon rides, a straw bale maze, early-American games, music, and demonstrations.  This is a family event with traditional harvest activities, refreshments, and over 1,000 pumpkins!  
  • Cost: Free

Heritage School All Children Sale

  • Where: Heritage School, 675 N Wayne Ave, Wayne

Friends' of the Radnor Library Paperback Sale

  • When: Saturday and Sunday Oct. 6 -7
  • Where: Radnor Memorial Library
  • Why Go: There will be hundreds of paperbacks up for sale, including children's books and general fiction. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m on Saturday and 1 - 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
  • Cost: Free to get in


161st St. David's Episcopal Church Fair and Country Auction

  • When: Saturday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Where: St. David's Episcopal Church
  • Why Go: Bring the family out and enjoy one of the longest standing country fairs in the nation. Kids will enjoy midway games, inflatables, train and pony rides, rock wall, face painting, pumpkin decorating, scarecrow making and more.  Lunch is from the grill - and enjoy lemon sticks and candy apples and other baked goods for dessert.  There will be a flea market, book, toy and sports tents as well as the Second Hand Rose high-end resale clothing shop. Not to be missed is the old-fashioned, live Country Auction featuring a unique assortment of antiques, collectibles, furniture and art. For more information, please read the event listing.

4th Annual Andrew's Friends Fund Beef & Beer

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 6 from 6 - 9 p.m.
  • Where: Brownies 23 East
  • Why Go:  Celebrate Andrew's life and help give back to the community.  Have a fun night out, enjoy food, drinks, door prizes, amazing auction items, live music and dancing - all for a great cause.  Andrew's Friends Fund was established to provide opportunities for children and their families to enjoy special moments together through community improvement projects and charitable donations.
