Learn to create a variety of glass beads using the lampworking technique. Beginning with the basic hand techniques used to manipulate glass rods into beads, the class will then focus on developing good shapes, pulling stringer, applying dots, raking, twisting, plunging and encasing. If time permits, we will then focus on making cane and twisties, and simple florals. An emphasis will be placed on safety and annealing practices. All material fees are included in price.
