Harford Trail Construction Begins Next Week In Radnor Twp.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — An walking path at the Radnor Elementary School will connect to Radnor Township's Harford Park as work begins next week.

The Radnor Township Board of Commissioners awarded a $348,000 contract to construct the Harford Trail to G&B Contractors, Inc. The trail will be constructed on an easement granted by Brandywine Realty Trust at the Radnor Corporate Center.

Plans include building the trail from an existing path at the school and leading Harford Park, home of the Creutzberg Center.

The infrastructure portion of the project that includes storm sewer construction is expected to take about six weeks. Work begins on Nov. 23., the township said. Access to the project will be through Harford Park.

Tree planting that is part of the project will wait until the spring of 2021.
