Have you seen this dog?

Louie, a black lab mix with a white spot on his chest, was in a car when it was stolen from a Philadelphia parking lot on Thursday, Oct. 9, his owner says.

JJ Pierce told NBC that she left Louie inside her 2001 red Honda CRV at the Home Depot on Columbus Boulevard. Pierce says she was gone for no more than 7 minutes, but that when she exited the store, her car and her dog were gone.

Philadelphia Police confirmed to NBC that they took such a report.

According to a Facebook page set up to find the dog, there was a possible Louie sighting on the 500 block of Pugh Road in Wayne on Sunday, Oct. 12.

Louie is described as a 2-year-old black lab mix. He is microchipped and neutered, friendly with dogs but shy with people.
