Haveford Middle School Celebrating MLK Day With Day Of Service
The school will host a meal packing event to help feed hungry families in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy.
The Haverford Middle School will be celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with a day of service, where volunteers will pack meals for hungry kids, the district said.
The school will be partner with Stop Hunger Now to host a meal-packing event in the cafeteria from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. They will be donating funds and packing over 10,000 meals for hungry kids in school feeding programs around the world, the district said.
Space is limited for the meal packing event and the district is hoping that families who cannot attend will support the effort and make a donations to Stop Hunger Now. Donations can be made online here.
