Hazmat Crews Investigate Suspicious Package At PHL Wednesday
The package was deemed innocuous after hazmat crews responded to a terminal at Philadelphia International Airport Wednesday morning.

PHILADELPHIA – Hazmat crews responded to the Philadelphia International Airport Wednesday morning after a suspicious package was found at a terminal. Ultimately, the package was determined to be not dangerous.
The package was found at about 8:30 a.m. outside Terminal C, according to airport officials.
Shortly after crews arrived and found the package, it was determined to pose no danger.

Officials said the package was leaking pharmaceutical waste when it was off loaded from a plane.
Airport operations were not impacted by the incident, officials said.

UPDATE: Per @PhillyFireDept hazardous materials unit has determined no danger from package in ramp area outside Terminal C. Incident is secured. No impacts to airport operations.
