Hillary Clinton to Open Delaware County Campaign Office

Hillary Clinton, who already has bases of operations in West Chester, Lansdale, andNorristown, is now establishing roots in Delaware County.

Signifying a continuing focus on the Keystone State and the Philadelphia suburbs in particular, Presdiential candidate Hillary Clinton will open a campaign office in Chester in Delaware County

The Chester office will be located at 403 Avenue the States. Democratic State Senate candidate for Pennsylvania, Marty Molloy, will be on hand at the office's grand opening on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

The office will serve as headquarters for local efforts to mobilize Clinton supporters and to advance the Democratic ticket on Election Day, a spokesperson for the Clinton campaign said.

Phone banks, organizing meetings, and canvasses throughout Delaware County will be run from the headquarters.

One other Clinton office will be opened in Pennsylvania on Saturday, in Bethlehem.

The Chester office will join southeastern Pennsylvania offices for Clinton already established in Norristown, Lansdale, and West Chester.

Pennsylvania is frequently described as a "swing state" in the upcoming election. Republican Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence is holding a rally in Bucks County on Tuesday.

Clinton is leading Trump by over 9 points in the latest polls in Pennsylvania, according to Real Clear Politics.
