The website looked at FBI crime statistics to create the list of the 100 safest places in Pennsylvania.

They gave each place examined a crime score, which was calculated by dividing the total number of violent crimes by the town population, then multiplying that by 1,000.

Radnor's crime score was 0.97, putting it at No. 20 on the list of Pennsylvania's safest towns with 30,000 residents or more.

According to ElitePersonalFinance, FBI data shows 31 violent crimes occurred in Lower Merion last year.

Nearby, Haverford Township was ranked No. 8 and Lower Merion Township No. 11 among the safest places with 30,000 residents or more
