Important Dates For Radnor School District Families
With August here, it's almost time for school to start. We have some of the most important dates RTSD families need to know.
WAYNE, PA – With August upon us, it's time to start thinking about the new school year (sorry kids). With that in mind, we gathered some of the most important upcoming dates for families in the Radnor Township School District to help you stay up to speed.
Here are some of the key dates you and your students need to know ahead of the new year.
- Tuesday, Aug. 15 – Radnor High School "Freshman FUNdamentals" orientation, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Radnor High School, 130 King of Prussia Road, Wayne.
- Thursday, Aug. 25 –Wayne, Radnor, Ithan Kindergartner bus orientation. Wayne, 10 a.m., 651 W Wayne Ave.; Radnor, noon, 20 Matsonford Road; Ithan, 2 p.m., 695 Clyde Road.
- Monday, Sept 4 – Labor Day
- Tuesday, Sept. 5 – First Day of School, first through 12th grade; Orientation/Screening, Kindergarten students only
- Wednesday, Sept. 6 – Orientation/Screening, Kindergarten students only
- Thursday, Sept. 7 – First Day of School, Kindergarten
- Thursday, Sept. 21 – No School
