Interstate 476, Lancaster Ave. In Radnor Affected By Work This Week

PennDOT recently announced work that will affect two roads in Radnor Township.

According to PennDOT, Interstate 476 north will have lane restrictions starting Monday April 3 through Friday, April 7.

The road will be affected from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily between West Chester Pike and Lancaster Avenue, PennDOT said.

Crews will be working on crack sealing.

Additionally, westbound LancasterAvenue's right lane in the scheduled to close from Monday to Friday this week, PennDOT said.

The closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Ithan Avenue and Spring Mill Road, according to PennDOT.

Crews will be working on the $3.7 million local project to construct a new pedestrian bridge over to connect Villanova University and the SEPTA platform, PennDOT said.

Drivers should plan for added travel time when driving in the areas or consider alternate routes.
