Interstate 476 Seeing Lane Closures In Delco This Week

A stretch of Interstate 476 in Delaware County will see periodic lane closures this week to accommodate pot hole patching work, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4 through Friday, Dec. 8, I-476 will see intermittent lane closures from Media/Swarthmore Interchange to just north of U.S. 30.

These areas include Radnor, Haverford, Marple. and Springfield townships.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during construction.

The work schedule is weather dependent.
