Lancaster Ave. Right Lane Restrictions Begin Monday
Works is progressing on the Lancaster Avenue-spanning pedestrian bridge, and that means traffic will be restricted again.

RADNOR, PA – The right lane is scheduled to close on eastbound and westbound Lancaster Avenue next week, according to PennDOT. The closure will accommodate ongoing work on the pedestrian bridge spanning Lancaster
Avenue.
Closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 31 through Friday, Aug. 4.
The lanes are set to close between Spring Mill Road and Ithan Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow additional time when traveling through the work zone. The contractor’s schedule is dependent on the weather.
The work is part of a $3.7 million local project to construct a new pedestrian bridge over Lancaster Avenue to connect Villanova University and the SEPTA platform.

The entire project is expected to finish in December 2018.
