Lane Closures Hitting I-476 In Delaware County This Week
Crews will be conducting road sweeping and litter clean up work on the highway in the Radnor, Haverford, Marple, and Springfield areas.
A stretch of Interstate 476 in Delaware County will see periodic lane closures this week to accommodate litter clean up and sweeping work, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18 through Friday, Dec. 22, I-476 will see intermittent lane closures from Media/Swarthmore Interchange to just north of U.S. 30.
These areas include Radnor, Haverford, Marple, and Springfield townships.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during construction.
