Lane Closures On I-476 To Affect Delco Areas
Work will affect both north and southbound travel lanes.
PennDOT announced Friday that work on Interstate 476 will lead to lane closures for several days next week.
According to the transportation agency, both the north and southbound travel lanes of I-476 will have intermittent lane closures in the area of several Delaware County municipalities.
PennDOT said Radnor, Marple, Springfield, Ridley, Nether Providence, and Upper Providence townships, as well as Swarthmore Borough, will be affected by the closures, which are the result of pavement patching work on the highway between Interstate 95 and just north of the Lancaster Avenue/U.S. Route 30 Interchange.

The work is slated to begin Monday, Oct. 24 and end Wednesday Oct. 26, with construction beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. on those three days, PennDOT said.
The agency said the work is weather dependent.
