Learn The Best College Admission Tactics At Radnor Township Next Month

You could land at your top choice of school through after attending the four-week workshop.

Radnor Township wants to clear up any misconceptions the public might have regarding college applications, which can be herculean to complete and feel confident about.

The township is hosting four sessions – Sundays - March 12, 19, 26 and April 2 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. – at the Radnor Township Municipal Building, 301 Iven Ave., Wayne, to help soon-to-be high school graduates and their parents better understand and demystify the college application process.

Former Swarthmore College Assistant Dean and Admissions Counselor and former director of counseling for the Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken Cigus Vanni will review the process and give valuable tips for students and parents alike.

Each session, Vanni will cover a different aspect of the college admission process and will help applicants cater to what admissions committees are looking for in students; match interests abilities, values and even karma to the right college; and discuss the financial aspect of the admissions process.

The workshops are free to all students and parents and no reservations are necessary. The sessions are intended to be a series, so make sure you attend all four to have the perfect college application. Attendees will also have the chance to win college T-shirts and sweatshirts.

The sessions are sponsored by the Radnor Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education (Radnor PAGE) and are intended to augment, not supplant or substitute, high school counseling efforts
