Local businessman returns to home church as senior pastor!

Wayne United Methodist Church is thrilled to announce the appointment of our new senior pastor, Tom Ebersole!

A longtime resident of Radnor Township and member of the business community, Tom Ebersole is delighted to return to Wayne United Methodist Church –not as a church member -- but as the Senior Pastor. As a member from 1991 through 2002, Tom was an active leader and participant in many areas of the church’s work. However, in 2001 he experienced a deeper calling to formal ministry and entered seminary studies. Leaving Wayne United Methodist in 2002 to serve as the pastor at Valley Forge United Methodist for 6 years, Tom completed his seminary studies with a Master’s Degree in Divinity. In 2008 he was appointed as the Senior Pastor at Messiah United Methodist Church in Lafayette Hill, PA and was ordained in 2010. Tom says,

“Although I have lived in Radnor for 25 years, I never dreamed of being appointed to my home church, it’s like coming home. We are very happy.”

Tom and his wife Kimm have lived in South Wayne and been members of the Wayne business community since 1990. Their family business, MEDISYS, Inc. operated here for 24 years. The couple sold the company earlier this year to focus their efforts on ministry. They have two sons--Ross, a senior at Radnor High School and Cole, a junior at Belmont University in Nashville, TN.
