Main Line Police Cracking Down On DUI This Weekend

For the unfamiliar, April 20 and the surrounding days are often celebrated by the marijuana-smoking community. Police are watching for DUI.

One Main Line police department will be cracking down on driving under the influence this weekend.

Lower Merion Township Police said Friday, April 20 that between now and Monday, April 23 they will be strictly enforcing DUI laws.

The weekend-long initiative is in partnership with a national impaired driving crackdown featuring intensified, highly visible enforcement activities using the tagline "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."

This program is funded by a PennDOT grant and one of the many tools utilized to increase public safety through increased awareness created by high profile enforcement.
