Male Reported Being Shot, But Was Actually Just High: Radnor Police

Responding officers determined the male was intoxicated and had no gunshot wound, police said.

RADNOR, PA — A person who reported being shot in the stomach Sunday in Radnor was actually just high, according to police.

Patch inquired about a possible shooting around 7:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue and was informed by Sgt. Brady McHale that a male did report he was shot in the stomach, but responding officers determined he was intoxicated and had no gunshot wound.

The male was evaluated at Bryn Mawr Hospital and is being charged with narcotics offenses, McHale said in an email to Patch.
